Tomball runners complete Dad's Day 5K
Ten runners from Tomball completed the Dad’s Day 5K on Saturday, June 16 in Houston.
Ten runners from Tomball completed the Dad’s Day 5K on Saturday, June 16 in Houston.
The Tomball runners who participated in the race are: Paul Riley, 30, (16:38); Bryn Benford, 29, (21:05); Grant Folkmann, 32, (21:30); Rebecca Folkmann, 26, (23:28); Eric Everitt, 14, (23:48); Brent Lapsley, 55, (27:23); Boyd Everitt, 43, (27:45); Carissa Everitt, 16, (32:53); Elizabeth Fielder, 36, (33:00); and Merrie Huskey, 38, (36:59).
A total of 860 runners finished the 5K race, which started and ended on Prairie under the Wortham Arch. The course is USATF-certified.
Maximo Mendoza, of Pearland was the men’s overall winner with a time of 15:41, while Lauren Smith of Lake Jackson was the women’s winner in 17:23.
