Spring runner completes Kona Marathon
Christine Dibbs of Spring completed the Kona Marathon in 7:34:23.
The event was held on Sunday, June 24 in Kona, Hawaii. A total of 384 runners finished the 26.2-mile race, which started and ended at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort.
The course is a Boston qualifier, and is USATF-certified.
Justin Gillette of Berne, Ind., was the men's overall winner with a time of 2:37:14, while Aki Mizunuma of Japan was the women's winner in 3:18:15.
