Altman wins Seabrook's Biggest Loser competition
Chad Altman, Pam Lab and Jessica Ancira were recently named the biggest losers after a 12-week weight-loss competition held among Seabrook city employees.
Twenty employees began the competition in April to improve their health. They each paid a $20 joining fee and an additional $1 per week for a winner's pot. Any contestant who gained weight during the competition would pay an additional $1 for that week. The final pot came to $635.
Altman walked away with first place and $318 for losing 36 pounds. Lab placed second with a 20-pound loss and earned $222. Ancira came in third with a weight loss of 23 pounds and took home $95.
The award placement was based on weight loss percentage, not total pounds lost.
