Anadarko Petroleum promotes Robert Lawler to senior vice president
Robert Lawler of Anadarko Petroleum was promoted to the position of senior vice president of international and deepwater operations, joining the company's Executive Committee.
Robert Lawler of Anadarko Petroleum was promoted to the position of senior vice president of international and deepwater operations, joining the company's Executive Committee.
"With Anadarko's expanding opportunities in the international, deepwater and U.S. onshore areas, we are fortunate to further leverage Doug's experience and proven capabilities by adding him to our executive exploration and production leadership team," said Al Walker, Anadarko's president and CEO.
A part of the oil and natural gas industry for more than 20 years, Lawler began his career in 1988 with Kerr-McGee Corporation, which was later acquired by Anadarko.
Lawler has held positions in operations, business planning and analysis departments at Anadarko. He holds a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from Rice University.
