Local dentist receives fellowship award
Cypress resident and dentist Lori Logan recently received the Texas Academy of General Dentistry's 2012 Fellowship Award.
According to a press release, Logan finished 500 hours of continuing education in the field of dentistry, maintained membership in the Academy of General Dentistry for three consecutive years and passed a comprehensive exam to qualify for the award, which more than 700 TAGD members have been given.
“We are proud to honor Dr. Logan for her commitment to the profession,” AGD President Dr, Jeffrey M. Cole said in the release. “She has distinguished herself professionally among her peers and is a role model to both her fellow dentists and to the members of the community.”
Logan, who is married with one child and another on the way, attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and is a member of the following dental organizations: the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Spear Faculty Club at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
