North Harris County YMCA challenges members to become 'exercise Olympians'
The North Harris County Family YMCA is hosting Go For Gold 2012, a monthlong incentive program to keep facility members active over the summer.
Participants will be challenged to complete 20 workouts in 29 days, with a choice of bronze, silver or gold medal workouts.
Bronze-level workouts require 30-44 minutes of exercise; silver requires 45-59 minutes; and gold requires 60 minutes or more.
The program is open to all facility members of the YMCA of any fitness level or age. The cost is $10 per participant, which includes a packet, log card and a T-shirt.
