Harris County Sheriff's Office investigating deputies involved in shooting
Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Investigators are investigating deputies involved in a shooting on July 3.
Personnel of the HCSO's Internal Affairs Division are also assisting in the investigation of the shooting that took place at 1100 Castolan Drive.
According to a police report, Deputies C. Waller, T.Robinson and J. Suazo were responding to a call that a Hispanic male armed with a pistol was beating on a vehicle and allegedly trying to climb into the caller's property.
Upon arrival, the deputies saw the armed man standing by the gate of the fence and ordered the man to drop his weapons. When he refused and pointed his gun at the deputies, they fired their duty weapons, striking the suspect. EMS was called and pronounced the suspect dead.
According to the HSCP, as per policy, the Internal Affairs Division, Harris County District Attorney's Shooting Investigation team and the HCSO Homicide Unit will investigate.
