Spring Branch Memorial Branch Library announces upcoming events
Various events will take place at the Spring Branch Memorial Branch Library from Thursday, Aug. 2 to Saturday, Aug. 8.
Toddler Time will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2 and again at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, featuring rhymes, songs and stories for children 16-36 months old and their parents or caregivers.
Story Time will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2 for children 3-6 years old and their parents or caregivers. Participants will enjoy rhymes, songs and stories and occasional craft projects.
A teen movie will be shown at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2 for teens ages 12 through 18. The film will be rated PG-13 and is one hour and 32 minutes long. Snacks will be provided.
Baby Time will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 for babies 15 months old and younger and their parents or caregivers. Participants will hear rhymes, songs, lullabies and simple stories.
The Summer Reading Program for school-age children will be held from 3-3:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2 and again from 4-4:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8. Attendees will experience the wonders of the tropical rainforest through plants, artifacts and animals. Fifty tickets will be given out 30 minutes prior to the shows.
