Disc golf is an increasingly popular sport, especially in the Houston area.

The courses are analogous to traditional golf courses, in that the goal of the game is start from the tee and end up in the hole. In disc golf, however, the holes are baskets that the disc must hit.

The Agnes Moffitt course is a relatively easy course by disc golf standards, and as such, it is perfect for beginning players. Some changes are being made to the general layout of the course, but it is still available to the public. There is no charge to use the course, and a disc, such as a frisbee, is all that is needed to get started.

WHY YOU SHOULD GO: The Agnes Moffitt disc golf course is a terrific venue for players who are just starting to get a feel for the sport. The course is relatively flat and does not contain too many trees, so beginners can enjoy it without feeling too intimidated by the difficulty.
