Different Treasure's Resale Shop supports adults with disabilities

Different Abilities Inc. in Houston has opened the Different Treasure’s Resale Shop at 301 Wells Fargo Drive, Suite C7, in Houston.

The shop is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday with a mission to support adults with disabilities. It is supported by donations and volunteers who work at the shop, according to the Different Abilities website.

Currently, the shop is featuring back-to-school items for children, including clothes, shoes and backpacks. Every shopper who spends $5 at the store will be entered into a raffle for a $50 Walmart gift card to be given away Saturday, Aug. 18.

Donations for resale are always welcome and arrangements can be made to pick up donated items.

Different Abilities is a nonprofit day program for adults with developmental disabilities. It opened its doors in February.
