Klein High alum Jeremy Barfield rips it up against Corpus Christi
Klein High School graduate Jeremy Barfield had a monster game Aug. 6 as Midland beat Corpus Christi 8-4.
Barfield went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a run driven in.
On the season, Barfield is batting .270 with nine home runs and 52 RBIs.
Barfield was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the eighth round of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft after playing college ball at San Jacinto College North. He is the son of former All-Star Jesse Barfield and brother of Major League infielder Josh Barfield.
