Senior Classic Movie Morning returns
Senior Classic Movie Morning will return to the Barbara Bush Branch Library on Friday, Sept. 14.
The first new movie will be Alfred Hitchcock's 1935 thriller "The 39 Steps," starring Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll. The intricate plot delves into a tourist's involvement in the murder of a stranger and the spy ring surrounding the entire situation. The film runs just under 90 minutes.
Senior Classic Movie Morning will start at 10 a.m. on the second Friday of every month. Most movies will end around noon.
The Barbara Bush Branch of the Harris County Public Library system is located at 6817 Cypresswood Drive, in Spring. The library offers a number of community programs, including books clubs, guest lectures and senior groups. Its regular hours are 1-9 p.m. on Mondays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The library is closed on Sundays.
