Library to hold workforce solutions job search seminars
The Barbara Bush Branch Library will host a series of free seminars for job seekers this fall.
The Workforce Solutions Job Search Seminars will help residents devise strategies for entering the workforce, spruce up their resumes and write effective cover letters and thank you notes, according to a release from the library.
A skills evaluation and job search planning workshop will take place at the library from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6.
Resume writing will be the focus of the seminar scheduled from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4.
Workforce Solutions will end the series with a class devoted to writing effective cover letters and thank you notes. This class is set for 1:30- 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18.
Registration is not required for these free workshops.
The seminars will take place at the Barbara Bush Branch Library of Harris County, located at 6817 Cypresswood Drive in Spring.
