Knitting, crocheting, conversation group meets at library
Knitters and crocheters can join the Knowledge Exchange group from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Fridays at the Barbara Bush Branch Library to help create items for charity.
The group meets every Friday year-round. Yarn is supplied to make lap blankets for veterans in the V.A. Hospital or chemo caps for M.D. Anderson patients.
Guests also can bring their own projects and should bring their own hooks and needles. Help with projects is also provided at 4 p.m.
The Barbara Bush Library is located at 6817 Cypress Drive, in Spring, and is part of the Harris County Public Library system. Hours are 1-9 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. For more information, call 281-376-4610.
