Arrest report for Aug. 9-11

The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Aug. 9-11:

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a state felony charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 49-year-old male lives in Bamwood in Houston.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a state felony charge of theft from a person, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 40-year-old male lives in Kerri Leigh in Spring.

A Houston woman was arrested and charged with failure to maintain financial responsibility by obtaining insurance, failure to control speed, expired inspection certificate and driving with expired registration on Aug. 11, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 28, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 11 and is facing class C misdemeanor charges. She resides in Redoak Drive.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class B misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle container, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 24-year-old male lives in Fox Briar Lane in Houston.

A Houston man is facing a class B misdemeanor charge of driving while license is suspended after being arrested on Aug. 11, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 29, resides in Blue Ash Drive. He was booked on Aug. 11.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class B misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana (0 to 2 grams), the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 28-year-old male lives in Valley Bend in Houston.
