The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Aug. 16-18:

A Houston man is facing a class C misdemeanor charge of violating child support after being arrested on Aug. 16, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 29, resides in Gleen Hurst. He was booked on Aug. 16.

A Spring man is facing a class B misdemeanor charge of trespassing on a property or in a building without forcible entry after being arrested on Aug. 16, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 29, resides in Glendower Dr. He was booked on Aug. 16.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on charges of expired inspection certificate, failure to maintain financial responsibility by obtaining insurance, operating motorcycle without approved headgear, driving with expired registration, no tail lamp on motorcycle and violating a promise to appear, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 40-year-old male lives in Hollow Tree Lane in Houston.

A Spring man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana (0 to 2 grams) and driving while intoxicated offense blood alcohol concentration .08 on Aug. 17, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 46, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 17 and is facing class B misdemeanor3rd degree felony charges. He resides in Windrush.

A Houston woman was arrested and charged with theft between $50 and $500 on Aug. 17, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 27, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 17 and is facing a class B misdemeanor charge. She resides in Wickstone Lane.

A Spring man is facing a class C misdemeanor charge of public intoxication after being arrested on Aug. 17, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 23, resides in Telegraph Creek. He was booked on Aug. 17.

A man was arrested on charges of burglary of a home and continuing violation of obligation by child now on Aug. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 18-year-old female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 19 and is facing 2nd degree felony and class C misdemeanor charges. She resides in Kuykendahl Rd.

A man was arrested on a charge of retaliation - assault with bodily injury to a public servant on Aug. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 21-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 19 and is facing a 3rd degree felony charge. He resides in Ella.

A Houston man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated 1st offense blood alcohol concentration .08 on Aug. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 20, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 19 and is facing a class B misdemeanor charge. He resides in Glenleigh.

A man was arrested on charges of driving with an invalid license with a prior conviction or suspension without financial responsibility (insurance) and possession of marijuana (0 to 2 grams) on Aug. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 26-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 19 and is facing class B misdemeanor charges. He resides in Spring Cypress.

A Spring woman is facing a state felony charge of theft under $1500 3rd offense after being arrested on Aug. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 37, resides in Wintergate. She was booked on Aug. 18.

A woman was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class B misdemeanor charge of prostitution non-public offender, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 21-year-old female lives in Ella# 1211 in Houston.

A Houston man is facing a state felony charge of theft under $1500 3rd offense after being arrested on Aug. 18, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 34, resides in Cornerstone. He was booked on Aug. 18.
