Spring nightclub blamed for alleged gang violence

A Houston man is suing after, he says, suspected gang members assaulted him as he and his wife danced at a Spring-area nightclub.    Jason Macon and Mycne Macon filed a lawsuit on Aug. 20 in Harris County District Court against Thong Nguyen and Sons, doing business in Spring as Club LT Tranz, and John Doe, a bouncer at the club, citing assault, negligent supervision and gross negligence.    The plaintiffs say on March 23, several unidentified alleged gang members attacked Jason Macon, without provocation, as he and his wife danced at Club LT Tranz, located at 345 W. Richey Road in Spring.    The suit alleges that one of his attackers, a bouncer at the club, broke Macon's jaw when he grabbed him from behind, slammed him to the floor and then dragged him around the club like a "worn rag doll."    According to the brief, the assault was part of a gang initiation.   The Macons are seeking damages and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Houston attorneys Dwaine Massey and Coby Arnsworth.    Harris County District Court Case No. 2012-47661.    This is a report on a civil lawsuit filed at the Harris County Courthouse. The details in this report come from an original complaint filed by a plaintiff. Please note, a complaint represents an accusation by a private individual, not the government. It is not an indication of guilt, and it only represents one side of the story.
