Fayette County Fair set for Aug. 30

The 85th annual Fayette County Fair will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at the Fairgrounds on Highway 77 in La Grange.

The fair will run through Sunday, Sept. 2 with main gates opening at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31 and 1 p.m. from Saturday, Sept. 1 and Sunday, Sept. 2. The event will feature various activities with a carnival, parade, queen's pageant, music, arts, barbeque cook-off, local cuisine, contests, games, magic shows, petting zoos, agricultural shows, Wild West Show, and entertainment with Cody Johnson, Dujka Brothers, Triumphs with Special Guest B. J. Thomas, Josh Abbott Band and John Conlee.
