Flight school career day and open house scheduled for Sept. 8
Career Day and Open House, hosted by American Flyers Flight School, starts at midnight Saturday, Sept. 8 at David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport in Spring.
Food and drinks will be available. The event is intended for those considering a career in the aviation industry. Admission is free.
The event will provide information and insight on aviation industry-related matters. Training aircraft will also be on display. Attendees will be given a certificate for two free hours of instruction in one of the flight simulators. .
David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport is located at 20803 Stuebner Airline Road, Hangar 32.
