Two Spring runners complete Rock 'n' Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon
Two runners from Spring completed the Rock 'n' Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon Sept. 2 in Virginia Beach, Va.
Gloria Michalik, 50, completed the race in 2:25:14, while Julie Bickle, 47, crossed the finish line in 3:35:44.
They were among 6,925 runners who finished the 13.1-mile race, which started at The Virginia Beach Convention Center, and ended at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
Nicholas Kurgat was the men's overall winner with a time of 1:04:45. Rei Ohara won the women's division in 1:13:50.
