Rory Aplanalp to speak at Tomball Chamber business seminar
Rory Aplanalp will be the keynote speaker at the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce annual Educate, Enrich, Empower Small Business Conference, to be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21.
Aplanalp is a speaker, author and consultant who began his career at Evans Training Personnel as a franchise owner, then as national training director. He has worked with the Franklin Covey Company for the past 14 years as one of its top presenters.
In addition to Aplanalp's speech, the seminar consists of four sessions — business resources, business tools, marketing and branding — each led by a business professional.
Attorney Kevin M. Jones, J.P. Magill of Magill HR and CPA Chuck Ransleben will present a morning session titled "Business 101: Keep Your Business Sound." Camille Hamilton of CMIT Solutions, Tim Stone of i-Tech and Steven Galvan with Sprint will offer "Technology Moving Forward." Kimberly DLape of Brand Moguls and Omar Cabrera, a software problem solver, will lead "Branding" in the afternoon.
The cost to attend is $79 for members and $99 for non-members, which includes continental breakfast and lunch. With five or more attending from one group, the cost is $69 per person.
The event will take place at Elmer L. Beckendorf Conference Center at Lone Star College-Tomball, 30555 Tomball Parkway in Tomball.
