Just for the Birds Features Owl Items in Time for Halloween

The spirit of Halloween becomes vibrant and alive with decorations perfect for the occasion, like Jack-o-Lanterns and witches on brooms.  But no Halloween display is truly complete without the presence of the avian beauties, owls.  Just for the Birds, the store for bird lovers and hobbyists, features many owl items to tickle the fancy.

"On many fall and Halloween pictures, we see owls," Kathy Coward, owner of Just for the Birds, said.  "Their hoots or screeches seem much more noticeable in the early fall morning or late at night.  They are such interesting birds and we can see many of them in our area, from little screech owls to big great horned owls."

Just for the Birds invites everyone to get into the spirit of autumn with the many items it offers featuring owls.  This includes plush toys, statues, puzzles, doormats, garden flags, pictures, and cards.  The store presents a wide variety of owl species in these items, and each one is an interesting piece on its own or as a beginning collection with owls as the central theme.  The store also has plenty of books about owls

"Another fun item is the fly-through barn owl or snow owl ornaments," Coward added.  "These ornaments are magnets made in owl shapes and then cut in half. You put one half on each side of a window, and it looks as though it is flying through the glass.  They can also go on kitchen cabinet glass or curio cabinet glass."

For early holiday shoppers, Just for the Birds also features owl ornaments for the Christmas tree.

"Come in and see what we have to offer owl-wise," Coward concluded.  "I certainly give a 'hoot' about your business and hope to see you."
