Spring ISD Education Foundation plans Tee Up for Education golf tournament

The Spring Independent School District Foundation will hold its 'Tee Up for Education' golf tournament fundraiser Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the Cypress Golf Club.

Proceeds from the event fund teacher grants and student scholarships, according to officials of the Spring Independent School District Foundation. Last year's tournament raised more than $40,000.

Tee off is scheduled for noon at the Cypress Golf Club, 21602 Cypresswood Drive, Spring. The cost to play is $600 for a group of four golfers or $150 per person. The cost includes lunch, dinner and a golf clinic with Mancil Davis.
