Steve Lawrence had to forgo a career as a fighter pilot and wound up creating a website services company.
If it weren’t for flat feet, the founder and president of Internet marketing company Neostead would have been a military fighter pilot. Instead, in 1999, Steve Lawrence decided to create a level playing field for small businesses and startups by founding a design and marketing company, staffing it with creative people and building innovative websites. The Internet was in its infancy, and very few companies were providing the services Neostead offered.
