Klein High School Orchestra presents fourth annual Taste of Klein feast and concert
The Klein High School Orchestra Booster Club will host its fourth annual Taste of Klein feast and concert from 7-10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 at Faithbridge Church in Spring.
Tickets for the event are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. All proceeds will support the school's orchestra. This is the club's largest fundraising event to support the musicians. It also helps pay the cost of the Master Teacher Series, which brings area musicians into the school to interact with the students, according to a press release.
The event will feature signature dishes from four area restaurants, with music presented by an ensemble of four orchestra student musicians.
The Klein HS orchestra has more than 185 students involved in five different performing groups. The orchestra has been named the Texas Honor Orchestra on four occasions and has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, Constitution Hall in Washington and Symphony Hall in Chicago.
The event will be held in the east building of Faithbridge Church, located at 18000 Stuebner Airline Road, in Spring.
