Get lost in Woods with Good Books
Good Books in the Woods, a used bookstore situated in a 50,000-square-foot, two-story house in The Woodlands, will be celebrating its fourth anniversary this December. Co-owner Jay Rohfritch spent years traveling around the nation assembling his vast collection of fiction and nonfiction titles. Good Books in the Woods has nearly every genre imaginable, plus first editions and book art posters.
ADDRESS: 25915 Oak Ridge Drive, The Woodlands
HOURS: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday
WHAT YOU’LL FIND: Good Books in the Woods has the largest history section in the area, all time periods, wars and countries. It also has the largest collection of rare and leather-bound books, literary fiction and mystery first editions.
WHAT THEY’RE SAYING: “This is such an awesome bookstore. What I love about it is that it gives the impression of being bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. We also have a bookstore dog (not a cat) named for the first novel ever written. Gengi is very friendly, especially once you give her one of the free doggie treats situated by the front door.” — Jay Rohfritch, Good Books in the Woods co-owner
