WHAT YOU’LL FIND: Good Books in the Woods has the largest history section in the area, all time periods, wars and countries. It also has the largest collection of rare and leather-bound books, literary fiction and mystery first editions.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING: “This is such an awesome bookstore. What I love about it is that it gives the impression of being bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. We also have a bookstore dog (not a cat) named for the first novel ever written. Gengi is very friendly, especially once you give her one of the free doggie treats situated by the front door.” — Jay Rohfritch, Good Books in the Woods co-owner
