Mr. Rooter Plumbing owner wins national award
Roger Goertz, the owner of Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Houston, won two awards at the Mr. Rooter Corporation's 2012 International Convention, held Sept. 23-26 in Grapevine.
Goertz was the recipient of the Personal Achievement Award and the Top Gun Award.
The Personal Acheivement Award is given each year to franchisees who demonstrated high achievement in sales, an increase in manpower or personal growth or advanced franchise development.
According to the press release, Todd Williams, a Mr. Rooter franchise consultant, stated of Goertz, "Roger is well deserving of this award. His dedication to his customers, employees and business is evident in all he does."
The Top Gun Award is presented to franchisees who represent the top 10 percent of Mr. Rooter Plumbing owners in North America.
"Taking a page from the Naval Top Gun program, each year we recognize our franchise leaders for their accomplishments and devotion to the trade," Kennedy Thompson, president of Mr. Rooter Corporation, said in the release. "It takes dedication, hard work, expertise and commitment to reach the Top Gun goal and we are honored to have these winners on our team."
