American Flyers at Hooks Airport to host open house
American Flyers Flight School at the David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport will host an open house and barbecue at noon Saturday, Nov. 3.
According to a press release, the event will feature a tour of the facility, a presentation by a certificated flight instructor and state-of-the-art flight simulators.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have and will receive a certificate for two free hours of instruction on one of the flight simulators.
Attending pilots are encouraged to stay after lunch for a free FAA Wings seminar on wintertime flying considerations presented by an American Flyers senior instructor.
The event is free and open to everyone with an interest in aviation. Reservations are not required.
