Sheriff's office seeking information to identify victim

The Harris County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on the identity of female remains found in north Harris County.

The remains were found in a garbage bag in the 12500 block of Walters Road on Tuesday, Oct. 16.

According to a news release issued by police, the medical examiner’s office states the female victim was about 5'2" to 5'4" in height. Officials believe the remains have been at the location for just over a month. Clothing found include a green T-shirt with a "Smurfs" design and dark-colored size five capri pants.

Homicide investigators with the sheriff's office have limited information on the case, according to the release.
