Two Spring runners complete Fort Worth Marathon (20-Mile Race)
Two athletes from Spring completed the Fort Worth Marathon (20-Mile Race) Sunday, Nov. 11 in Fort Worth.
The runners from Spring and their finishing times were Fernando Lorenzo, 58, 3:35:57; and Mercedes Lorenzo, 55, 3:48:23.
Organizers said 114 runners finished the 20-mile race, which was held at LaGrave Field.
Shane Wall was the men's overall winner with a time of 2:15:04. Kathryn Brown, of Nichols HIlls, won the women's division in 2:24:37.
