Warren Hanson to perform free holiday program at local church

Warren Hanson, an author, illustrator and musician, will perform at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at Plymouth United Church, 5927 Louetta Road, Spring.

The program will include songs, readings and stories for all ages.

Hanson is the author of "The Next Place" and illustrator of "A Cup of Christmas Tea" by Tom Heggs. Other books written and illustrated by Hanson include "Older Love, Today's Special," "Beginnings," "Raising You Alone," "Kiki's Hats" and "Paw Prints in the Stars."

Books and CDs will be available for purchase and Hanson will sign autographs after the performance.
