Klein Collins grad Perez contributes to McMurry University victory

Klein Collins High School graduate Alfred Perez scored four points Thursday, Nov. 16 as the McMurry University men's basketball team beat conference opponent Sul Ross State University 75-47 at Moody Coliseum in Abilene, according to McMurry's website.

The junior center also picked a rebound, and had two assists, three steals and a block for the War Hawks, who improved to 2-0 on the season.

McMurry also played. Saturday, Nov. 17 against York College.

Perez played at Klein Collins for head coach Scott Harma in 2008-2010. He was named Second-Team All-District as a senior in the 2009-2010 season while also being named a Greater Houston Coaches Pick by the TABC.
