Klein Collins grad Hamilton contributes to TCU win
Klein Collins High School graduate Veja Hamilton played for Texas Christian University in a 61-55 win at home against conference opponent University of Central Florida on Nov. 16 at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth, TX, according to Texas Christian University's website.
The TCU freshman forward and guard recorded two rebounds and got an assist for the Horned Frogs, who improved to 1-1 on the season.
Texas Christian's next game is Sunday, Nov. 25 on the road against Texas State.
Hamilton is a 2012 graduate of Kingwood High School, where she was a McDonald's All-American nominee. Hamilton was ranked the No. 18 overall rated wing in the country, according to ESPN/HoopGurlz. A four-star rated combo guard, she was named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches all-state list in March, scoring 2,228 points.Hamilton is from Spring.
