Klein Oak grad Dominguez plays in McMurry loss
Klein Oak High School graduate Ana Dominguez contributed 23 points, but her McMurry University women's basketball team lost 65-46 to conference rival Colorado School of Mines Saturday, Nov. 17 in Wichita Falls, according to the McMurry team's website.
The freshman forward also recorded eight rebounds, one assist, a steal and three blocks for McMurry, which is 0-4 on the season.
McMurry's next game is 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 on the road at West Texas A&M University.
A 2012 graduate of Klein Oak High School in Spring, she was a four-year letter winner for the Panthers and a three-time all-district selection. She also was selected academic all-district and was a member of the National Honors Society. The Spring native, a business major, is the daughter of Mike and Dawn Dominguez.
