Village at Gleannloch Farms seeking sponsors for fundraiser
The Village at Gleannloch Farms is seeking sponsors for the annual Parade of Trees fundraiser.
The deadline to register as a tree sponsor is Monday, Nov. 26.
Each year, the retirement facility invites the local community to buy and decorate a Christmas tree to be sold at auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Krause Children's Center and TOMAGWA Health Care Ministries.
"This is the perfect opportunity to do something fun and festive all while supporting a local charity," said Kathy Johanns, executive director at the Village at Gleannloch Farms, according to a press release. "It gives us a feeling of belonging to something besides ourselves."
Bidding on the trees will take place from Tuesday to Friday, Nov. 27-Dec. 7 at the Village at Gleannoch Farms, 505 Northpointe Blvd., Spring. The auction and a final celebration will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7.
