Spring Westfield grad plays in University of Central Florida loss
Spring Westfield High School graduate Gevenia Carter contributed in the University of Central Florida's 83-75 loss to Missouri State on Wednesday, Nov. 21 in college basketball action.
According to the University of Central Florida's website, Carter, a senior guard at the University of Central Florida, recorded 14 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal for the Knights, who are 1-5 on the season.
The matchup took place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The University of Central Florida's next game is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 at home against Charlotte.
Carter played basketball for Westfield High School in Houston. She is the daughter of Telekia Foots and Charles Carter.
