Harmony community collecting gifts for Montgomery County Women's Center
The Spring community of Harmony is hosting a holiday gift drive for those at the Montgomery County Women's Center.
Unwrapped items for women, infants, young children and teenagers staying in the Montgomery County Women's Center will be accepted at Harmony's model homes through Monday, Dec. 10, according to a community news release.
Harmony is near the intersection of Rayford Road and Riley Fuzzel Road, about two miles east of the Hardy Toll Road. The model homes are open daily from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
The most-needed items for women include shoes for all occasions, books, gasoline gift cards, pre-paid cell phones and department store gift cards.
Items needed for infants are mainly necessities such as bottles and diapers while older children will enjoy toys and games. Teenagers could especially use gift cards, clothing, shoes and hand-held video games.
