Houston Symphony to perform at The Pavilion
The Houston Symphony will be performing the Holly Jolly Symphony Spectacular at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
The concert will feature holiday classics and popular tunes performed by the Houston Symphony and conducted by Robert Franz. Pieces will include a Christmas Festival medley with "Joy to the World," "Deck the Halls" and "Jingle Bells," as well as the "Nutcracker Suite," "Suite from the Snow Maiden," a "Hanukkah Overture" and "Sleigh Ride."
The event will also feature the Westside High School Inertia Dance Company.
The venue will be decked out with festive winter decorations and will be visited by Santa, Frosty the Snowman and other holiday characters. Children will have the opportunity to make arts and crafts, play in the snow and much more. The Candy Cane Express will be providing rides starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Gold Lot.
Gates will be open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 for orchestra seating and free for mezzanine and lawn seating, courtesy of Woodforest National Bank and KPMG LLP.
Preferred parking will be available in the on-site Town Center Garage, located along Six Pines Drive, and will cost $5 per vehicle. Tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations and at the Pavilion Box Office.
The Pavilion is at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands.
