Klein Forest grad Rogers plays in Northern Arizona loss
Klein Forest High School graduate Gabe Rogers scored seven points in a 93-50 loss by his Northern Arizona University to the University of Arizona Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Olson Court, McKale Center in Tucson, according to the Northern Arizona website.
Rogers also recorded one rebound, two assists and a steal for the Lumberjacks, who are 2-4 on the season.
Northern Arizona's next game is 4:35 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at home against Sam Houston State University.
Rogers, a 6-foot-2 senior guard for Northern Arizona, is a 2008 graduate of Klein Forest. The Houston native was named to the all-region and all-district teams for coach Cary Black. He is the son of Gabe and Kim Rogers.
