Klein Oak grad Dominguez plays in McMurry loss

Klein Oak High School graduate Ana Dominguez played for McMurry University in a 63-62 loss to conference opponent Newman University Thursday, Nov. 29 in Wichita, Kan., according to McMurry's website.

Dominguez and the War Hawks are 1-6 on the season and 0-1 in the Heartland Conference. McMurry also played Saturday, Dec. 1 at Arkansas-Fort Smith.

Dominguez is a freshman forward for McMurry. A 2012 graduate of Klein Oak High School in Spring, she was a four-year letter winner for the Panthers and a three-time all-district selection. She also was selected academic all-district and was a member of the National Honors Society. The Spring native, a business major, is the daughter of Mike and Dawn Dominguez.
