Westfield grad Hopes plays in Tennessee State University loss
Simone Hopes contributed 13 points in Tennessee State University's 71-48 loss to University of Montana on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Dahlberg Arena in Missoula, according to Tennessee State University's website.
The senior forward also recorded six rebounds and one assist for the Tigers, who are 3-4 on the season.
Tennessee State University's next game is at 8:05 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, on the road against Montana State University.
Hopes is a 2009 graduate of Westfield High School in Houston, where she was selected to the All-District 13-5A first team and named to the Greater Houston Area All-Star team as a senior.
The Houston native is the daughter of Ron and Sandra Hopes.
