Spring Woods grad Whitty leads Schreiner to win

Spring Woods High School graduate John Whitty scored 14 points to lead Schreiner University to a 62-60 victory over conference opponent University of the Ozarks Friday, Dec. 7 in Clarksville, Ark., according to the Schreiner website.

The Houston native also grabbed two rebounds and two steals for the Mountaineers, who improved to 4-3 on the season and 2-1 in the ASC.

Whitty is a freshman guard for Schreiner. The Houston native is a 2012 graduate of Spring Woods.
