Through Your Eyes scheduled at Klein Oak High School

Through Your Eyes, a Klein ISD Community Celebration, will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7 at Klein Oak High School auditorium.

According to a press release from the school district, "This special celebration recognizes the winners of the Klein ISD Education Foundation Through Your Eyes student multimedia contest, with first place videos debuted, as well as the 2012 Friend of Freedom honorees. Dave Roever, an international public speaker who served in the U.S. Navy Special Warfare Division during the Vietnam War, will follow. Roever was burned beyond recognition when a grenade exploded in his hand and he was later awarded the Purple Heart Medal."

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
