Spring Dekaney grad Durley scores 15 points in University of Cincinnati victory
Spring Dekaney High School graduate Alexis Durley led the University of Cincinnati to a 59-48 home victory against Eastern Kentucky University with 15 points, according to the University of Cincinnati's website.
The game was played Dec. 9.
The freshman guard also recorded one rebound, four assists and one steal for the Bearcats, who improved to 6-2 on the season.
Durley, a Houston native, is a 2012 graduate of Spring Dekaney High School. She was selected as athlete of the week by the Houston Chronicle during her sophomore year. During her senior year, Durley scored 856 points, had 467 assists and 407 steals. The health education major is the daughter of Adrien and Sharon Durley.
