Spring runners complete GE Run Thru the Woods (3-Mile Run)

A total of 197 athletes from Spring completed the GE Run Thru the Woods (3-Mile Run) on Nov. 22 in The Woodlands.

Another 157 local runners also completed the race.

According to race organizers, a total of 1,222 runners finished the 3-mile race, which began and ended at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Ronnie Delzer, of Magnolia, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 15:54, while Kara Sanstrom, of Cypress, was the winner in the women's category finishing with a time of 19:05.
