Spring runners complete GE Run Thru the Woods (1-Mile Children's Race)
A total of 95 athletes from Spring completed the GE Run Thru the Woods (1-Mile Children's Race) on Nov. 22 in The Woodlands.
The runners from Spring and their finishing times were Ethan Mercado, 12, 6:20; Mason Karp, 12, 6:26; Justin Sheldon, 9, 6:57; Ty Grossie, 10, 7:10; Hunter Lund, 8, 7:15; Christian Morrison, 12, 7:19; Trey Harrison, 9, 7:21; Isaac Gray, 9, 7:28; Dominic Monteleone, 9, 7:30; reanna Parasco, 8, 7:46; Dylan Dalpedri, 12, 7:51; Jenna Karp, 9, 7:56; Peyton Davis, 12, 8:05; William E. Bollom, 9, 8:07; Nickolai Dowden, 9, 8:08; Jasmine Kessler, 8, 8:11; Meadow Kessler, 6, 8:13; Tommy Freet, 11, 8:19; William Collins, 6, 8:21; Tristan Ramirez, 10, 8:24; Abby Fowler, 10, 8:27; Mckenna Fowler, 10, 8:29; Mary Dillard, 8, 8:31; Camryn Grossie, 7, 8:33; Ryan Lund, 6, 8:33; Paige Palmer, 8, 8:33; Paulina Braniff, 9, 8:37; Caroline Henson, 10, 8:38; Adam Matte, 7, 8:38; Connor Gambill, 11, 8:46; Raquel Wood, 11, 8:55; William Tennison, 8, 8:57; Maxim Dowden, 6, 8:59; Briley O'Connor, 8, 9:05; Rebecca Barrows, 10, 9:05; Christopher Rohm, 10, 9:08; Aidan Hardy, 9, 9:09; Rebecca Loghry, 7, 9:12; Caleigh Dauth, 12, 9:19; and Miguel Vanegas, 6, 9:34. Another 55 local runners also completed the race.
According to race organizers, a total of 551 runners finished the 1-mile race, which began and ended at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
Calder West, of The Woodlands, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 6:00, while Nicole Faria, of The Woodlands, was the winner in the women's category finishing with a time of 6:29.
