Spring Dekaney High grad Nevitt contributes to Texas Tech University victory

Houston native Shunta Nevitt played for Texas Tech University in a 68-41 win at home against University of Northern Colorado on Sunday, Dec. 16, according to Texas Tech University's website.
The freshman forward helped the Red Raiders improve to 8-1 on the season.
Texas Tech University's next game is at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 against Michigan State.
Nevitt is a 2012 graduate of Spring Dekaney High School in Houston, where she made the academic all-district team.
The human sciences major is the daughter of Octavius Nevitt and Mozell Frazier-Nevitt.
