Ralph Eickenroht Elementary School's Dominguez receives honor
Javier Dominguez, a bilingual teacher at Ralph Eickenroht Elementary School, was named the 2012 Texas Association of Bilingual Education Teacher of the Year.
According to a press release issued by the school, "Dominguez was selected for his dedication to the needs of second language learners and his outstanding leadership. He has been a bilingual teacher in Spring Independent School District since he joined the staff at Beneke Elementary School in 2004."
The school made the announcement on Thursday, Nov. 1. Dominguez was honored at banquet on Friday, Oct. 26.
Spring Independent School District is headquartered at 16717 Ella Blvd., Houston.
