Ambitious student engineers future
For now, the senior likes to relax after school by reading a book or magazine to unwind. Her favorite book is “The Kite Runner” by Khaled Hosseini. “The story of the main character is so authentic,” Mondragon says of the book. “(It’s) written in a manner that makes it seem like it’s based on a true story.”

AMBITION: “My ambition is to graduate from college with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a minor in statistics. After college, I would like to have a good job in which I can use my degree and develop expertise in my field. Then I want to establish my own engineering firm.”
