Klein Forest grad Rogers plays in Northern Arizona loss to BYU
Gabe Rogers, a graduate of Klein Forest High School, is a senior guard for the Northern Arizona University men's basketball team.
Klein Forest High School graduate Gabe Rogers contributed eight points in Northern Arizona's 84-54 loss to Brigham Young on Thursday, Dec. 27 at the Marriott Center in Provo, Utah, Northern Arizona's website reported.
The Northern Arizona senior guard also recorded three rebounds and three assists for the Lumberjacks, who are 4-8 on the season.
Northern Arizona's next game is at 6:35 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 at home against Sacramento State.
Rogers, a 6-foot-2 senior guard for Northern Arizona University, is a 2008 graduate of Klein Forest High School. The Houston native was named to the all-region and all-district teams for coach Cary Black. He is the son of Kim and Gabe Rogers.
